    La Croix

    On Day #19 and loving it so far! I haven't had any nightmares this week where I accidentally eat something that not's compliant and then have to start over.. so that's good More than anything, I have noticed a HUGE change in how I sleep! I used to wake up multiple times a night for hours at a time and also took 90+ minutes to fall asleep. Those days are gone, thanks to Whole30. My two questions are: - Is it possible to drink TOO MUCH La Croix? I don't drink it because I'm craving sugar, but rather because I drink so much water that I just get sick of it sometimes. I like having a La Croix with my lunch but am worried about it causing me to gain weight. Any insights are appreciated. - Does anyone have tips/tricks of how to do Whole30 on a budget? I have nearly doubled my grocery bill this month and my man isn't too happy. What are your favorite cost friendly items and recipes? Thanks in advance!! Mel
  2. So I'm on my first time doing whole30, and only on day 3. So far so good! My only "problem" is trying to figure out how to get caffeine in my system. The last three days I've had coffee with nutpods creamer and I just really don't like it. The first two days I wasn't able to drink enough of my coffee and ended up getting a caffeine headache. Today I choked it down just so I could get the caffeine I needed in my system. Now I know that I shouldn't *need* caffeine and headaches are a sign of withdrawals and that's bad and all... I'm aware of that. But now is really not the time for me to cut caffeine. I'm not looking for that. I'm here looking for advice on how to either a.) make my coffee tolerable, or b.) a whole30 compliant drink/food that will get me the same caffeine as I was getting from my coffee, that also tastes decent. I'm considering the following: 1.) Going to the local coffee shop and getting a nice quality coffee in hopes that I can drink it black 2.) trying coconut milk with cinnamon or a vanilla bean 3.) Switching to green tea with lemon, though I'm not sure it'll have enough caffeine? When I looked on PInterest, there were all of these recipes for Whole30 compliant coffee creamers, but when I looked on the website here, it looks like Whole30 actually doesn't like those coffee creamers and considers them SWYPO. Am I right on that? Thanks! -DJT

  4. I am on day two and already begging for anything other than just water to drink. I drank so much water on previous diets I burned myself out on it. I know I can drink Tea and Coffee unsweetened but I cannot stand unsweet tea and not a coffee drinker. I am already burned out on just water alone. Is there any other suggestions of drinks?
  5. I love my teas and have quite a selection including peppermint, ginger, chai, earl grey and rooibos. One of my favourites is a Dilmah rose with French vanilla as displayed below. The ingredients are listed as: pure Ceylon black tea with French vanilla and rose flavours. Am I allowed this or are the 'flavours' not allowed? Meg

    Need drink ideas

    I'm on Day 7. I know I'm not getting enough water. When I was preggo and had to drink lots (12-15 glasses a day) I added a splash of OJ. obviously that's out of the question here. Thanks cause I'm thirsty, Connie
