    August 4 Start Group

I have been waiting for this day for a long time. I've been prepping all summer--I had a very long Day Zero. My blog has a list of most of the things that I did to prep for this day, but, of course, as soon as I posted it I remembered other things. It just feels like I've been getting ready for today for forever! Here's a link to my blog: I am a 54 yr old high school English teacher who lives in the Philly suburbs, but my soul lives in Michigan--my home of 49 years. My boyfriend (what's a better word for that since it sounds silly to have a BF at 54) and I bought a house in October, and we are currently having a garage built. OMG, what a pain dealing with the township on all this. But I digress...did I mention I have ADD problems? I have a beautiful daughter who gave me two amazing little grand humans. They live in northern Illinois--boo. I also have a handsome son who I am very proud of--I can't believe my little boy bids on billion dollar contracts on a daily basis--who lives in Michigan. I am prepared for this first week to be difficult. Luckily I don't go back to school until next week, so I will have some time to get everything figured out before I have to actually pack my meals. Good luck to all the other 8/4s out there! Vicki
