Hi friends, I just recently started the Whole 30 Diet about a week ago and it has been good, however I have been experiencing some pain and cramping in my lower abdomen and in my lower back, as well as being fatigued often. I got diagnosed with endo and IC about 2 years ago and have had two surgeries. I was wondering if any of you with endo and/or IC have experienced some pain/fatigue/cramping once you started the Whole 30 diet? My pain isn't to the point where it is crippling, but it is definitely hard to keep up and I am debating whether or not I should modify the Whole 30 diet or stop it all together? I am contacting my doctor on Monday to consult with him, but would love any feedback/advice/testimonials from the Whole 30 community! Thanks Haley
  2. I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis and am in the process of getting my six month treatment. This is a series of (2) 3-month shots. This process started prior to me learning about Whole30 and I plan on starting Whole30 in a few days. Is it ok to start while my treatment is going on and will it affect my results of Whole30?
  3. Hi there! 1st time poster and experienced W30'r here! My younger sister has crippling endometriosis, and has agreed to do the W30 with me in January (with her doctor's blessing, of course). Any tips for her? Based on my understanding, the condition isn't an autoimmune disorder, but it might respond well to an AIP. Should she do a strict AIP protocol? Or, should she make smaller modifications, like limiting fatty meats or avoiding eggs? Most of what I've read suggests that she increase her fruit and vegetable intake a lot. How should she reconcile that advice with W30's fruit intake recommendations? Any advice is much appreciated.

    Endometriosis & Sugar

    Hello ladies, I am on day 32 of a compliant whole 30. I decided to do this program because I suffer from chronic endometriosis pain. I decided to buy some cold cut honey glazed ham as my first reintroduction. Does anyone know how long it takes to get pain from having a reaction to the sugar/honey. After eating this ham I started having mild pelvic pain again... which I have actually been free from during my whole 30. Any help or research would be appreciated... thank you so much!! Amanda
