  1. These two ingredients- potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate- were in my apple cider I'm using for a Ketchup recipe. I didn't see either of these on the Whole30 list of do not have and acceptable to have. Are these ok?

    sodium benzoate

I did a search of the forum and I looked in the book The Whole30 to see if Sodium Benzoate is compliant and couldn't find anything. Unless I missed it. Does anyone know? I looked it up online and found some downright scary information about lab-synthesized version that is often used in foods. This is making me want to avoid it ALL costs. Also, the E# for sodium benzoate is E211.

Ok, I used to eat rotisserie chicken at least once a week. After investigating it appears there's ALOT if non compliment Ingrediants. Any help or advice here?
