I am in love with this program! I haven't completed a full round yet, although for the vast majority of the summer I ate compliant. My first attempt was 27 days. Three day short! What is wrong with me? I have felt amazing. But I really want to make a go of a full round of whole 30. I seriously cannot find a time, even one month, in my schedule until November that not one day or two days or a week I have things going on that would make it very difficult to be compliant. It's very frustrating. I'm starting to feel a little bit like a failure. It doesn't make me want to abandon the things that I have accomplished over the summer, however I'm starting to doubt my commitment to doing a full round. Has anyone else experienced this kind of frustration?
123Rae posted a topic in Join the Whole30Hello - I started my Whole30 journey on Nov 7. This is a huge change for me. The first 3 days I felt great, excited, motivated. Day 4 was hard - not feeling well, less motivated. I'm on day 5 and almost gave up this morning. I felt nauseous, headache, tired of cooking, grumpy and I was so sure a bagel would fix all of that! I've read that is normal so I guess being prepared is helping me through it. I didn't eat the bagel and forced myself to eat a healthy breakfast and felt better afterward. I have 2 teenagers with busy schedules and work full time so I feel so unsure that I can continue preparing fresh whole foods like this for every single meal. Please tell me it gets easier! I would love to get feedback on prepping for the week, quick meals when needed, time saver recipes. I don't think I can continue prepping for each meal at mealtime - there's just not time. How do you all manage your time?! I think the crock pot may need to come out more. Point me toward easy recipes and time saving ideas please!
LadyLileth posted a topic in Join the Whole30Hi Everyone! It's my first day starting the whole30. Just ate my first Whole30 dish for lunch. Hoping my body will feel overall better on this diet. I am very excited to start after reading ISWF. I am a busy full time student and part time employeed as an intern. Any suggestions for keeping on track? My current schedule this semester is all over the place so I has no consistant time to eat. I am hardly at home so I am very interested in how you guys/gals keep on track with a busy schedule? All suggestions welcome Good eating!, Lileth
