    Anyone want to start 4/20??

    I'm looking for a few (or one??) person to join me in a whole30 but I don't really want to wait until next Monday to begin... anyone??
  2. I am on about day 10 of my Whole 30 and the hardest thing for me to give up is carbs! I am used to eating pasta or something with everything! I have been replacing that carb with the mashed cauliflower from the cookbook pretty frequently - is this actually a healthy substitute to be eating a lot of? I often don't eat another vegetable with dinner. (To be clear, I eat brussels sprouts, spaghetti squash, etc. too so it's not only the cauliflower, just mostly ) Would love some thoughts!!
  3. Hey guys!! I've done 2 rounds of Whole30 before and I LOVE how I feel after. This time I'm getting in shape for an upcoming trip, and this week I'm preparing for my March 1st start date by researching (reading the 30 day guide as fast as possible), printing my favourite recipes for easy access, and talking to my friends about my journey! If you would like to chat about Whole30 and nutrition, (and maybe you even have some travel suggestions for Australia) please join me!! We can keep each other excited, motivated and accountable ☺
  4. So, I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that starting the whole30 around the holiday season definitely poses a set of challenges for me. But really, what time of the year would not pose challenges? I haven't experienced any sugar dragon cries this past 3 weeks, but today in the store, they had my favorite easter candy repurposed for Halloween. I think I drooled a little in the line. This Friday, we're doing a halloween potluck at work, and then everyone's walking togehter to lunch in their costumes to celebrate. Then on Saturday, my husband and I are going to be meeting up with friends at an amusement park. So, in preparation, I'm planning my MOST satisfying meal for Friday's lunch - something that will make me think "I'm so lucky I get to eat this right now" and honestly, I'm planning on making up an excuse and missing the party. I hate to ditch a social life, but this is so much more important right now. What are you doing to be ready for the candy onslaught that will come our way in a few days? I truly feel badly for those of you with kids who will be bringing it all into the house!
