  1. I'm on day 8. Doing well in terms of following the plan. But this is the 2nd night I've had nausea after dinner. The first time we had steak (in place of the more costly brisket), butternut squash and salad as recomended on the first week's meal template. For lunch I had the Mexican Tuna in endive leaves, leftover slaw and grapes. Breakfast was the leftover chicken and roasted potatoes. I likely had some grapes and perhaps some almonds with dried apricots on that day. Tonight I had the Romesco garlic shrimp with zucchini noodles. Lunch was a protein salad (salmon) with a side of blue berries. Breakfast was a 2 egg omelet with salmon, onions, garlic, mushrooms, spinach, salt, pepper and tumeric. I have had about 4 cups of black coffee and 4 cups of water with lemon today. From what I've read, nausea is not a typical side affect, so perhaps this is unrelated. But I'd appreciate any insights. Thank you!
  2. Hi, I have been having major stomach pains after lunch everyday since starting the Whole 30. This is day 4. The only thing I have really changed is using Almond Butter in my morning smoothies instead of peanut butter. I also ate a bit of Spinach, which does upset my stomach sometimes. I usually take Pepto or have a ginger chew, but neither of those seem to be compliant. Any other suggestions or possible causes? Thanks!
  3. Hello all! I did the whole30 all of the month of September, with a couple of days of adding natural sugars and a couple glasses of wine. I've pretty much stayed away from all gluten, dairy, and processed anything. I'm now having some health issues and wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or has some advice. About 2 weeks ago I was told, after doing blood work, that my pancreatic levels were elevated. My symptoms are pain during and after eating, bloated, fatigued, painful abdomen above belly button. I had an ultrasound yesterday that checked my gallbladder for stones, and that came back as normal. I'm finding that eating small portions throughout the day is so helpful and really chewing my food, literally 30 times. Anyway, I felt it was important to see if anyone else has had similar issues. Otherwise, I had severe weight loss, over 22 pounds, and I'm already tiny, so I can't lose anymore. I love the idea of eating clean, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something.
