    Salmon cakes without eggs?

How can I make salmon cakes without eggs? Has anyone made them? Thank you!

    Canned sweet potatoes

I really want to try the No Fuss Salmon Cake recipe. The recipe calls for canned sweet potatoes, but the only canned sweet potatoes in any of my local stores are canned in “light syrup”. This doesn’t sound compliant to me, so I’m wondering what a good substitution would be. Boil a sweet potato and mash it?

    Finding canned sweet potato

I can't find canned sweet potato or yam to use in the salmon cakes. Even Whole Foods only has them in heavy syrup. Last time I ended up using organic baby food, but the consistency is very thin. Anyone have any ideas on where to find the things or what to substitute? Thanks!
