  1. Hi. I'm in Vancouver and need help to find compliant non-pork meats. Chicken/Turkey/Beef only please. Looking for easy to cook sausages, hot dogs, bacon, whatever. Please help!!
  2. Hey y'all! So I meal prepped a compliant turkey and veggie chili in my instant pot tonight. It was made with turkey, green peppers, zucchini, sweet potato, onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes, green chilis, and lots of yummy spices. Unfortunately, the veggies overcooked so everything kind of turned into a bit of a mushy and water-y mess. I strained off some of the liquid, which helped a bit. I also added some slivered almonds and less-ripe avocado when I ate it, which helped add a little bit of texture. If anyone has any ideas as to how I could salvage the recipe so that I don't have to choke down/ throw away a whole pot of nutrient dense chili, let me know!!!
  3. Hello there from Ankara, Turkey. I am a humanitarian starting the whole 30 in Ankara tomorrow. This is a real challenge since almost everything you buy in cans and bottles from the stores here have sugar and/or metabisulfit. Plus I am learning how to say all these technical things in Turkish. However, I am fired up to start as I have noticed in the past few years that breads and sugar make me feel very tired and rundown. If anyone else is in the neighborhood, please let me know!

  5. I found some deli turkey breast at Whole Foods that might be compliant now that white potatoes are, but before buying it I'd like to check. Brand: Fresh Fields Provisions Item: Hickory Smoked Turkey Breast Ingredients: Turkey, water, contains 2% or less native potato starch, sea salt, natural smoke What sayeth the wise men and women of the board?
  6. I live in Chicago and all of the places I'm finding that offer free-range or pasture raised turkey and chicken also mention organic feed. 1) Is turkey/chicken given organic feed out of the question for the Whole30 even though it is pasture raised? 2) Does anyone have a good website or know somewhere in Chicago that I could find free-range turkey or chicken not supplemented with any type of feed? Thanks and Happy Holidays!! Lauren
