Jule
I am going on a 6 hour hike tomorrow. Its not a super hard one but it will be hilly and long. Any tips on what foods to pack? My plan: Breakfast will be sauted veggies in coconut oil (1 cup) and 2 eggs. A handful of berries. In my pack: 1/2 cup almonds and cashews, raw veggies with guacamole and a turkey wrap. I made turkey burgers with coconut flour, mashed sweet potato, egg and spices. I thought I would wrap one in lettuce with some mayo. I will bring a cup of berries too. Good enough? Beets
I haven't done a lot of hiking lately so I won't be a big help there. But I definitely would advise eating a more substantial breakfast. Add in another egg and/or some meat to give yourself more fuel in the am.
MrsStick
Sweet potato in the morning would probably also help! If that's all I ate for breakfast...I'd be starving really quickly!
