PamH
Questioning young coconut water, since it is sweet tasting and contains 12g of sugar per serving (according the the bottle). I occasionally drink Harmless Harvest Raw young coconut water (100% coconut water). If it isn't a trigger for sweets, is this OK on the Whole30? 8oz bottle maybe once a week? It is expensive... Moderators Tom Denham Posted May 22, 2013 Moderators Share Posted May 22, 2013 No. You could use coconut water as a sweetener in a recipe. You could use it as a recovery drink if you were running a half-marathon, but drinking a cup of what is basically sugar water is not a good choice for ordinary use. The same applies to any juice - orange, apple, pineapple, etc.
