missuswayne
I'm a little over halfway through my second Whole30, and the one thing I've missed more than anything is wine. I am a stay at home mom with two kids, home for the summer, and between them driving me absolutely insane and my period starting, I am DYING for a glass of wine. Instead I drowned my frustrations in... sweet potato oven fries. Even though I've not been flawless this Whole30 (Paleo Parents "candied" macadamia nuts, I'm talking to you), I feel like the structure of it is helping me make better choices day after day. Colleen Roy
I don't have little ones at home with me during the summer anymore Mine are 21 and 23 and only the 21 year old lives at home...so I feel your pain about missing a nice glass of wine in the evening...but, we are doing the right thing. Great choice! Hang in there!
Melissa Urban
Love this observation. No one expects you do to a "perfect" Whole30. We all have coping mechanisms in the beginning, and while they are not ideal, they're better than the alternative. As long as you're aware of why you're making the choices you are, you're winning! Keep up the good work, and know that all of this stuff gets easier with time and practice. Melissa
