Question for impending reintro

On day 25 and looking ahead to day 31 and beyond with this question:

The books suggests starting dairy on Day 1: some yogurt, later some cheese and ice cream. Then gluten foods come in for an audition on day 4, but what about the intervening days 2 & 3? Do I continue with small amounts if dairy, or am I completely whole 30 those two days observing any effects from day 1?

I think the idea is to follow W30 rules on days 2-3 to give you time to see if/how the dairy affects you before throwing in a new variable.  If you ate dairy on days 2 and 3, added wheat on day 4 and then had a stomach ache, it would be hard to determine the culprit.
