gingerrox
At the recommendation of some weightlifting friends, I put a spoonful of coconut oil in my coffee once - gross! So when I read about BP coffe I was HIGHLY skeptical. Do not underestimate the power of emulsion! The blending gives it a creamy, not oily, consistency. I blend it for a good minute or so until it gets really foamy. Another benefit, in my opinion, is that it gives coffee "brakes." One 8oz. cup bulletproof is more than satisfying for me, and I don't find myself draining the pot. The energy levels are insane, and much more sustained than what is induced by caffeine alone. The recipe I use is 1 Tbsp clarified butter + 1 tsp coconut oil per 8 oz. hot coffee. I love it with a pinch of cinnamon and a teeny bit of vanilla extract, though my vanilla has alcohol so was off-limits during the W30. Tastes like cappuccino to me.
