cupkayke
I asked this a couple days ago; I've been taking Tylenol for the sinus pain and not much else. I found that using a saline rinse (ie: neti pot, squeeze bottle from neil-med) has helped a lot as well. I also started eating veggies and fruits that have more Vitamin C. Um... that's about it. I hope you feel better soon- I'm on day 4 of this cold and it's finally starting to subside.
Kirsteen
Prescribed medicine alwyas trumps a W30 so if your doctor's given you meds to take, don't stop them, if it's a painkiller you want then as Cupcayke said, Tylenol is the way to go. NSAIDs can really screw with the digestive system. Hope you feel better soon
MrsStick
I do a saline nosewash (in a mug, breathe the water out of a 1 tsp spoon) when I get sick if I'm at home. If I'm travelling, then I'll take real meds, but I try to keep the med load down. Drinking warm homemade bone broth can help, as can ginger/lemon tea (just leave out the honey) and garlic (especially raw).
praxisproject
I really like Ginger & Lemongrass tea from Twinings when my sinuses are bad.
