hbiscotti
Hi, I've been on the Whole30 for over 40 days now, however, I just add a cabbage salad with vegies, avacodo, nuts and homemade dressing w/ EVOO, balsamic vinegar, herbs. Now I have a bloated tummy, which feels also like its on the edge of a tummy ache. I had a very sick tummy on Friday as well. (I posted what I ate on Friday). Just wondering what could be the cause of this since I have been on this food plan for going on 45 days. Thank you, Holly
karacooks
A lot of people react that way to cabbage. It's pretty normal, actually. You could try going slowly on the cabbage, or just eliminating it from your diet all together.
hbiscotti
Oh Ok. That stinks because I like a cabbage salad much more than a lettuce. Or like you said, I could try cutting back on that and see how it goes. Thank you!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted July 8, 2012 Moderators Share Posted July 8, 2012 Raw food is harder to digest than cooked. You might find that you have little or no problem with cooked cabbage.
