emilyhas
My first whole 30 was wonderful and left me feeling great so I thought I'd try it again! The only problem is I have way less motivation this time. I know how good I can feel on whole 30 but I also already proved to myself I can do it and don't have the first time doing it energizing motivation. Now I keep restarting because I keep cheating and I can't quite seem to actually get started on this thing..six weeks to the wedding and I really want to feel great. The worst is when I cheat in the morning and can't seem to stop cheating. It's like I go into sugar loading mode because I know tomorrow will be another attempt at whole 30 and there may be no sugar for 30 days. Come one motivation I just need a good five days of whole 30 to get me going back on track here!

Bethany Lannon
I know how that feels, with the morning cheating. What we choose to eat in the morning sets us up for the rest of the day, and I have learned that the hard way! I am starting my second Whole30 today. I just finished my first Whole30-turned-40 on Saturday, did some responsible off-roading yesterday, and then started back up again today. If you're looking for extra motivation, the author of the blog stupideasypaleo.com is doing a W30 that is starting today. She's inviting all the readers to join her... all of her recipes will be W30 compliant as well as she'll be linking up older recipes on FB that are also W30 compliant. Her page is www.stupideasypaleo.com and she's on facebook as well. Good luck!!
Jackolantern
Congrats on the wedding! 7 weeks until mine and I just started my second Whole 30 last week. I'm with you that round 2 is mentally tougher. Here are some things that are helping me: - My fiance is doing it too, except he gets to have beer. That was our deal, and it really helps when there's no bad food in the house and you only have to cook once for everyone. - I'm keeping a log on the forum, which holds me accountable to others - It's only 6 weeks! (or 7.5 in my case) Seriously, thinking about how much time has flown during wedding planning reminds me that the remaining days will go fast. 30 days is nothing compared to the lifetime you'll be spending with your honey. - plan, plan, plan! Having convenient food (grilled chicken, cauliflower rice, frozen veggies, avocados) at the ready makes it easier to choose the healthy meal instead of bailing. - Drool over Whole 30 recipes at the Foodee Project. Seriously, I'd rather eat most of that stuff than ice cream any day.
