Confused about fruit

When I read the outline of this plan I know I read that 1-2 servings of fruit was compliant, but reading though this forum it seems that people are talking like fruit means falling off the wagon. This is only my second day, but I have had a couple servings of fruit yesterday and then again today for breakfast and packed in my lunch.

 

Am I supposed to give up all fruits, too?

so I have a question about that too, we eat a lot of mango I know its pretty sweet and wondering if its ok in small amounts. 

 

If you're thinking "Man, I could really go some Skittles right now. I know, I'll have some mango instead" then no, you shouldn't have it. If you're thinking "Man, some mango in this chicken salad would really rock out" then yes, full steam ahead.
