vtknitgirl
a farmer friend of mine gave me a lamb liver which i am going to cook, but I am not sure what I should do with it in the past I would make spread and put it on toast, any ideas would be great. Moderators Tom Denham Posted June 18, 2013 Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2013 I've prepared calves, rabbit, and chicken livers and like them a lot. I've never gotten my hands on lamb liver, but I bet my calves liver approach would work with it: http://www.wholelifeeating.com/2011/11/calves-liver-with-tomatoes-and-onions/%C2'> One update to my calves liver recipe. I have begun to add a big handful of cashews to the onions and diced tomatoes to give the meal some crunch and to add a little more fat. I really like this meal with the cashews.
