heatherweber
So I picked up a box of the fit&active fruit strips, from Aldi, which are basically like dried fruit, they only have fruit juices and veg jucies in them, would this be an approved emergency snack...? JJB
Technically approved, but probably not very satisfying. It's not easy to find stuff to take with you on the go though.
Guest
Why not eat an apple or some other fruit for a quick "snack"?
Robin Strathdee
Heather- Technically they're compliant (and fairly scrumptious), but they aren't filling and (from experience) if your sugar is low or you're hungry. already, they can put you in a worse spot if you're lacking protein. Better to go with a piece of fruit and some nuts.
SouthernTornado
Heather! I totally did this yesterday! We were running late to a cookout and i'd had lunch but it was my Day 1 and I knew I was going to melt down if i didn't get something before dinner in 2 hrs, since we stopped at Aldi to pick some stuff up, i started (in a panic) looking... and discovered those! (so glad they are compliant)
