lagee1413
I was looking on the Tessemae's website and when I toggled to Whole9 approved the BBQ sauce droped off. Is it because of the dates? I am looking to order the Zesty Ranch and wanted to try one other. Thanks! Lindsey Day
Moderators Tom Denham Posted July 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted July 1, 2013 The BBQ sauce is okay. Pureed dates are not the best thing in the world, but this remains an okay BBQ sauce during a Whole30.
scrapstitching
I'd like to know how it tastes. I've not been interested in making my own. I tried their Ranch dressing and it's okay; it's not traditional ranch dressing, so don't get your taste buds ready for that
JD12377
Is it sold soley online? Haven't found in stores. Even can't find tessemaes hot sauce.
scrapstitching
Whole Foods sells the brand, but not sure if they have this particular product.
Jinkse21
I'd like to know how it tastes. I've not been interested in making my own. I bought the BBQ sauce and it's okay. The third ingredient is cinnamon...pretty strong cinnamon flavor which is not something I have ever had in my BBQ sauce. It will take some getting used to, at least until I finish the bottle. After that, I plan on making my own using some of the recipes I found online.
scrapstitching
Thanks. I'll be going to Whole Foods this weekend and will see if they have it or another brand that is at least close to W30 compliant. I have the Penzey's BBQ spice, but it's not the same. JD12377
I picked up the hot sauce and a lemon Chesapeake by tessemaes yesterday. Can you wait to test it.
