Jayala1018
Hey all! My name is Jessica and I am 23 and today is my first day on the Whole30. Last night I couldn't sleep, I tossed and turned but I think it was because my roomate and I went for frozen yogurt right after dinner, we knew we wouldn't have it for a month, so we had to have it one more time I wake up every morning at 4:50 a.m and this morning I ate from 5:30-6 a.m. Breakfast: I had 3 scrambled eggs with 1/2 off an avocado. No meat, I forgot to add it and I was already so full because I never eat meals, I am so use to snacking all the time. Lunch at 11:am-12 p.m: 1 Sweet Potatoe, Green beans and 1 Chicken Breast. and I will update for dinner later. PS I felt sick this morning, not having coffee with sugar or even half and half. and not eating candy will be a challenge for me, but I am up for this, I look forward to sleeping better and being more healthier and meeting some of you Whole30's out there.. Talk to you soon! J
Physibeth
Welcome to the whole30! Your eggs were your protein at breakfast...no additional meat required. But you do need to add vegetables to your breakfast. The avocado was your fat. Did you have a serving of fat with your lunch? Stick to and trust the template and you will do fine! On my Whole30, I switched from coffee with soy milk to coffee blended with coconut oil and ghee using a hand blender. Yum! Won't go back.
