Meal template while sick?

I'm on Day 15. I got sick yesterday afternoon with mastitis. I'm lightheaded, achy, running a fever, and just generally feel cruddy. It has also completely killed my appetite. Being a breastfeeding mom, I'm trying to get in some calories, but I'm having to force myself to eat, and following the meal template is hard. Last night I had a steak, but couldn't bring myself to eat any veggies. This morning I forced myself to eat a few mini frittatas, and now it's lunch time and I have 0 appetite.

 

Do you try to follow the meal template, even when you are sick? Or do you just trust your body's signals? I'm thankfully not craving any terribly unhealthy food, but the only things that sound good at all are protein and bananas.

I'm so sorry you are sick.  Mastitis is no fun.  Personally, I think you should listen to your body and eat what you can and not worry about getting in the template perfect until you feel a bit better.  Take care of yourself!
