Kristy
We are on day 3 and we have woken again with smack down headaches. The headache arrived late day 1 and was appalling on the morning of day 2 (literally awoke due to pain). We took Panadol because we would have been in bed otherwise and have tried to drink as much water as possible but it continued all day. Have woken again with headache. Is there anything else we can do or is it just a 'suck it up princess' moment Life, kids and work are very hard at this stage!
amberino21
My husband and I both had headaches yesterday (day 3), and woke up with one again....mine has gone for now (2 hours since getting up)... I haven't had headaches for months! I'm trying not to take anything for it and push through it I hope they go away soon as well!
msssjenna
Eating sweet potatoes at breakfast and lunch helped with my headaches. You are going through the carb flu so hopefully it will pass.
amberino21
We've had starchy carbs with every meal, except one for me.... We also have post work out carbs, and we've worked out twice since starting...
Magda Walędzik
I find that tea helps with my headaches. Just normal black tea, not some fancy hippie herbal stuff For some reason it works for me better than plain water, so I've been drinking 30 cups a day recently and it makes things a bit better. Also, I eat sweet potatoes all the time
krhuts
I had awful headaches the first week; my boyfriend's lasted 5 days or so. Both of us were also going through caffeine withdrawals, which didn't help. I found that coffee with coconut milk helped me get through the worst of my headaches on day 5; since then, I've increased my sweet potato intake and have been drinking coconut water (check for no added sugar, but VitaCoco seems to be fine and is on sale at Walgreen's right now) after workouts. I've been headache free since Day 8 or so - today is Day 11. If you're not a coffee drinker, try brewing some tea. If you don't like it hot, you can pour it over ice, stir quickly with a fork, and it will bring the tea down to iced tea temps. Hang in there - that first week was the hardest! Kristy
Thanks so much for the answers! It is great not to feel alone. Day 8 and they have completely stopped. Day 4,5 and 6 I continued to have minor headaches but nothing compared to those first few days. We are on the right track now
amberino21
I was the same - I think day 6 was absolutely terrible for me and I felt like giving up because I haven't felt that awful in months!!
