Driver695
So the best I can find is full fat coconut cream it's called and lists coconut, water then stabulizer 466?
1Maryann
That's a European designation, don't know what it translates into on this side of the pond, so I checked it on Wikipedia. It is carboxymethyl cellulose and in the description it says it is hypoallergenic, except for those with an intolerance to wheat. So on that alone, I'd say it's a no-go. Hopefully, someone who lives closer to you can give you an idea of what brands would be acceptable. Helps if we know what country you are in. amberino21
Is that in a normal supermarket? Perhaps check out a health food shop or more speciality grocery store for a better option?
poeticallychallenged
Just an FYI for other folks who are reading this -- the same ingredient is in Trader Joe's coconut cream.

Tallulah Wolf-Angel
On the Celiac.com website, carboxymethyl cellulose is listed as a SAFE ingredient. They say it does not contain gluten.
