Try #3

I'm fustrated it's been a total of 6 days until I failed again. I ate so good and did so well, but yesterday I got tempted and got a hot chocolate from McDonalds and probably had like 5 pieces of fries. I know disgusting and today I haven't eaten anything at all because I didn't have time to make food and I am at my office today alone.

Still not an excuse, I just had 1/2 cup of coffee with french vanilla cream and a few frozen straweberries, that I have here in the office.

I am so fustrated with myself. I am doing the Whole30 with my roomate and I am not going to tell her I have to start over tomorrow,  it's better if I don't. I have to do this, there is no way I am giving up, not now!

I hope everyone is doing well and please don't give it. I am giving this as many tries until it gets done.

Day 1 starts again tomorrow!!

Hey lady,

From experience, it is MUCH better to admit to your partner that you're back to day 1. If I slipped on day 6 and didn't report and just carried on like nothing happened...it allowed me to keep making bad food decisions, because who would know?

GOOD LUCK!

I agree with Renee above.  Admit it and move on.  Don't make a big production of it.

Also as a side note stop beating yourself up about it.  It's not helping.  You made the choice to have those off plan ingredients.  They did not chose you....

Best ways of success eating whole 30/paleo.  Have a plan - weather it be for a couple days or a week or two.  Have options for every meal.  It will save you time.

When you have a craving, have a distraction plan.  A true craving will last for about 5 minutes.  So do something else - go for a walk, do your nails, read, take a bubble bath, buy some tea.... something that will distract you and make you feel better all at once.  Write down some things you can do when a craving hits.  Then excersise them when you get a craving.

Perfect advise above. Answer to yourself why are you doing this? Is it about your health or just crossing "this thing" off your list? You sound very determined and it's great. Just remind yourself all the great reasons behind improving your lifestyle.

And yeah, there is no such thing as fail over here. It's a feedback about where you need to do some thinking/planning.

Best of luck and tell your rommie for sure.
