Day three and feeling great!

I started my first Whole 30 on Tuesday so I've just completed day three. I am pleased to say I haven't felt the nasty hangover I had been warned about. I have been having fun getting creative in the kitchen, even had friends over for dinner last night. The hardest part has been stopping myself snacking with my fourteen month old son -who eats all day long! Hopefully I can keep this up!

Day 3 for me.  No yucky junk going on with me either.  I am afraid it's the calm before the storm.

Well, Good luck to you.  Be proud of you for taking this step to a better YOU.

Share any good food ideas....would love to hear about them.

Thanks Tahh! I too am worried its the calm before the storm. I don't feel that the whole 30 is that different from my normal diet so my body might be adjusting ok? I hope! I do normally have a lot of dairy and lots of sugar cravings but I don't seem to be struggling so far.

I am finding it hard not to snack though. Late morning and mid afternoon is the hardest. I am trying to eat lots of protein at each meal, maybe I'm not eating enough? Hopefully my body will adjust soon.

I have been devouring Chipotle chicken soup with avocado for lunch each day and trying new things for dinner each night that I find on the web and Pinterest (greek beef stew last night, stir fried fish with vegetables). Tonight I am making cottage pie for my husband and son (husband is on a low cholesterol diet and son is only fourteen months old) and I will use the beef mince to stuff a capsicum for myself. All my meals will have to feed all three of us with minor adaptions so am I keen to hear from others juggling this too.

I am in Australia so have just finished lunch on day four!
