Life More Abundantly
I am trying to be frugal and use up everything in our fridge. Does anyone have any suggestions for non-SWYPO ways to use up almond meal and coconut flour?
hobbitgirl
I use it as a substitute breading. Last night I used almond flour and seasoned it and used it to dregde pork chops.
SugarfreeLife
I used them to cover meat slices and then I fry them in coconut oil. But I'm not sure, if it is compliant or not.
Derval
I used almond meal in my meatloaf yesterday. I also used it to make paleo fried chicken
Johnny M
I try to limit use of almond flour in foods because heat can be damaging to their oils and I try to limit consumption of nuts in general but I use a lot of coconut flour. Here's one my favorite recipes! http://eatingforidiots.com/post/21896754492/paleo-crab-cakes-im-not-sure-why-but-i-had-huge
Snicci
I use equal amounts of both and add s&p and any other seasonings and then use it to make "fried fish". Not sure if that's compliant or not, but I was craving fried fish about a month ago and tried it and it was good!
Life More Abundantly
These all sound delicious! I love how they are all recipes that non-whole30 friends and family would like too. Thanks, everyone!
