nikkianetra
Hi there - I am looking for a whole30 safe almond milk. Whole Foods discontinued the brand they make, and every other one I looked at in the store had either sugar and/or carrageenan. The WholeFoods brand did not have those ingredients, and has been gone from the store since before I started on July 1 . . .
GFChris
Make your own. This recipe calls for vanilla extract as an optional ingredient. Unless you can find a vanilla extract without sugar and alcohol, leave it out to keep it Whole30 compliant. http://stupideasypaleo.com/2013/06/17/homemade-almond-milk/
Jtandi
^^ and try some other nuts while you're at it! I personally make hazelnut milk
Guest
You can add vanilla bean instead of extract. I prefer hazelnut, but prefer the price of almonds, so I make a blend.
praxisproject
For people wondering about other nut milks, if you're in a hurry, brazil and hazelnut milks don't need pre-soaking http://detoxinista.com/2010/11/dont-wait-another-minute/
Egre4926
I found one in my local whole foods in the refrigerated section. It's in a bottle (sorry cant remember the brand name), & comes in 3 varieties - vanilla, original & unsweetened. Obviously only the last is whole30 compliant & it lists the ingredients as almonds & water
