Starting Today!

I'm starting today, too. :) I don't know that I'm going to miss sweets as much as I'm going to miss (and already miss) grains. I was already gluten free, but relied heavily on gluten free bread, rice, and corn.

 

I had eggs and fish for breakfast and a salad with avocado for lunch. Right now I have a headache... :(

Second day was great for me, but today is Day 3, and I was supposed to get up for a 5:30 am bootcamp and went back to bed.   :( Had the headache and bad mood....trying to get motivated!  I did eat correctly for breakfast and was HAPPY to find out I could put full-fat coconut milk in my coffee, and it tasted great!

 

Hoping all of you had a better start to your morning than me!

Day 2 went well. I need to make some breakfast here in a few. I had leg cramps when going to bed and was so afraid I was going to get a charlie horse in the middle night. Thankfully I did not. :)    I have never tried coconut milk in my coffee before. I have stayed away from coffee so far during this whole 30.

Zoiks, was Coffee on the forbidden list?  (Hope not, that's one thing I really enjoy!  Not for the caffeine, but just for the coffee.....)  I need to work out today and I can barely even focus on my work, darnit!  But I will trudge through this....no urge to cheat, just feelin craptastic today.   :angry:

How's Day 4 starting for everyone?  I woke up with another terrible headache and had to force myself to eat breakfast.  (Eggs and asparagus!)  Have been having terrible cravings for snickerdoodle cookies but hoping that urge will pass soon.....

So far so good. I still need to make breakfast! I am totally slacking this morning. So far I haven't had any urges or cravings. not sure why??

 

I did take a nap the other day and had a dream I got a caramel frappe and that I was licking the caramel out the cup when I done. I woke up feeling so guilty. I hate food dreams. 

 

You guys are doing awesome. Give it a few more days and your sugar dragon will go into hibernation :)

Well Day 4 is good.... But I still want ice cream or something sweet! And I've had moments of "oh screw this, I'm going and getting a diet pop and ice cream". But have not succumbed. I'm a wee bit tired also.. But I do feel good. Just my dumb brain sending weird messages lol.

Day 5! I've been feeling pretty good. This is my second time and so much easier than the first as far as cravings go. But I've had very vivid dreams of eating junk food the last few nights! Last night it was chocolate covered caramel popcorn. Is that even a thing? I've been eating giant salads every day and today I made "pasta" which was really spaghetti squash with Italian sausage. Yum!

6 days in and feel in good. I am sleeping like a baby. The best sleep I've had since I can remember :D  I haven't had any real cravings. I think about sushi a lot. I'm tired of eating eggs for breakfast though. Anybody have any ideas on breakfast? 

I go to the gym 2-3 times a week and work with a trainer. Yesterday I ate three eggs, 2 slices of bacon and some avocado, and a banana. My workout was 1-1/2 hours after eating and when I was done 30 minutes with her, I was wiped. I came home and tried to swim but I got dizzy and had to quit. What's up with that?
