What's the correct dose of cod liver fish oil?

Sorry dw09! That was an old recommendation. New studies show that there are issues with taking high levels of a PUFA supplement like cod liver oil or fish oil.

What the bottle says, especially in the context of a W30 is fine.

I take Green Pasture's Cod liver oil in capsule form. The directions say to take 2 capsules, but I read somewhere that to get the recomended dose you would have to take like 8 capsules a day. Does anyone know?

Here the daily recommended dosage of cod liver oil as is:

For lowering triglycerides: 20 mL of cod liver oil per day.

For high cholesterol: 30 mL of cod liver oil per day.

For lowering blood pressure: 20 mL of cod liver oil per day.

Consuming too much vitamine D cause thrist, bone pain, tiredness, itching, sore eyes, vomiting and diarrhea. As zophai said take the recommende dosage of cod liver oil.
