littleknife
Uhh I feel awful, i am on the verge of a 'what the hell' downward spiral and giving up. Everything just seemed against me the past 2 days, nothing went right- bathroom flood, bike accident and then to make it all worse I just ate an entire large jar of chestnuts and 5 baby bananas. My eating has been Whole30 but terrible- coconut here, there and everywhere, an entire roast chicken, spoonfuls of ghee, bananas, even dates snuck their way in... The worst thing is I feel like a failure, and that its only me that cant stay on top of my eating or life. everyone seems to be feeling great, losing weight and lifting cars Sometimes days are just down right crappy. Does anyone else ever feel like this?
orca_chick
I totally hear you littleknife! I definitely have days where I feel like life is against me and I feel horrible about myself. I know it's difficult, but I find that looking at the positives can really help me get through those days. For example, I know it's not optimal but at least you've been sticking to eating compliant foods. It could be worse...cookies, cake, ice cream. Just pick yourself back up and start planning your next meal sticking to the W30 template. We all have slip ups from time to time, don't let yourself spiral downwards. You are worth this and you can do it. Also, find something that you like to do that isn't food related. Is there a movie you've been wanting to see or another activity that you've been meaning to go do? Now's the time...sometimes we just need to indulge ourselves a little bit and it's possible to do without food. Good luck and I hope your weekend gets better! Kirsteen
Littleknife, you're absolutely right, sometimes days are just downright crappy and you seem to have had a couple of those recently. Don't beat yourself up. Take a deep breath and remind yourself how well you're really doing. You seem to have stayed with compliant foods. Have you followed the meal template? - it doesn't sound like it. Is there room for improvement? - undoubtedly. But you know what - we all have room for improvement, all the time. We're all works in progress. I don't know anyone that's the finished article So remind yourself of how well you've done in really stressful circumstances. You've survived a bathroom flood and a bike accident without diving headfirst into the doughnuts - well done. If you can manage that, you can manage anything. I really, really hope things improve for you.Good luck

Bet
I came down with a horrible cold on day 12. I was miserable. Plus I was constipated. It wasn't fun. But eventually everything cleared up and now I feel great. As if a black cloud was lifted. Hang in there. And baby bananas are not that bad, you could have done worse!
