Honey Sue
I've got a recipe for baked liver pate from my mother and as I looooove liver pate I really like to make it. I does contain a couple of non-compliant ingridients though, most of which I can easily substitute...except for sourcream. Any ideas on what I should use instead? I've considered using coconut milk/cream, but it feels to runny and sweet for this particular dish.
Guest
Maybe the coconut cream, plus vinegar... Or mayo made with vinegar instead of lemon. There is a thread about liver love that may have better tips for you. Nadia is the liver expert and she may have a recipe already posted if you search.
