IowaHillGal
Hello everyone, I don't usually share in public venues on the Internet, but success with the Whole 30 I am starting on August 1 is so important to me that I am going to step out for once. Since I dislike cooking, and that has been a stumbling block in my past Whole 30 attempts, I have ordered the monthly plan of meals from Premade Paleo (http://premadepaleo.com/collections/partnership-meal-plans/products/whole30-approved-meals-for-30day-challenge). I hope that having Whole 30 meals handy in my fridge and no tempting trips to the grocery store needed will help me be successful this time. LRM
I have never used Premade Paleo meals, but I believe if that's what you need to get you through the plan, then go for it. Wishing you a very successful Whole 30.
Kirsteen
Welcome Robin. Ive never tried premade paleo. We don't have anything like that in the UK Good luck and keep us posted how you get on with them.

IowaHillGal
Very disappointed by Premade Paleo. The $300 offer was for a WEEK, not a month, and also I've tossed about half of the food because I can't stand the taste. I'm going to continue to use their service (the meal plans, where I have more choice, not the $300 bulk plan) for the rest of the Whole 30 to minimize my need to cook (cooking is one thing that has derailed me in the past), but won't continue once the 30 days are up. Anadarko
Count me as a member of the I hate to cook club, too! If you need someone to commiserate with this month (I started 8/1 as well), I'm your gal. Don't let your experience so far discourage you from completing the whole30. I'm trying to think of this in terms of embracing a new skill set necessary for my long term health.....but I want to make it as easy as possible in the kitchen as well! Anadarko
How are the meals going so far, IowaHillGal?
IowaHillGal
Thanks for your reply to my complaints about Premade Paleo! Rest assured that I'm not letting it stop me--it was just a passing annoyance. This week-end I found another site, Paleo on the Go (www.paleoonthego.com) which has a full a la cart menu. I ordered two weeks of meals for $350 (vs $300 for one week of Premade Paleo). I do have to pay shipping, which was free for Premade Paleo, but it's not that much. Anadarko
Great! Let us know how Paleo On The Go works for you!
cafelover
Robin, For the cost of premade paleo, I am betting you could hire someone to cook for you and bring you homemade paleo friendly meals once or twice a week. I would love to get paid to do that for someone as I love to cook!
Susan W
I was a personal chef when my daughter was young. I still do it part time occasionally for friends and a very small group of long time clients. There are lots of them now. They will ask you about dietary restrictions and you can launch into your W30 needs. I cook specific meals (just dinners) for families for 2 weeks. The meals are tailored to their needs and likes. If you google Personal Chef in (insert your town), you will find a bunch unless you live in a very small, rural area. Most have websites that explain the process and many will publish the cost. They also usually will offer a discount for the first delivery or two as it takes a moment to get a handle on unique tastes. The ones certified by the USPCA (United States Personal Chef Association) work under very strict guidelines and rules. Most carry a food handlers card.
