JordanC
I'm starting on Monday and trying to plan out meals. Would this BBQ sauce be allowed? Making my own wouldn't be too bad if it is, but I'd prefer to buy something... Straight from their website: Tomato Paste, Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey, Molasses, Mustard, Horseradish, Lemon Juice, Onions, Garlic, Peppers, Natural Hickory Smoke Flavor, Natural Spices, Salt & Xanthan Gum (A Natural Thickener). No MSG!
amberino21
Honey and molasses though- neither are compliant!
Bet
While BSS is one of the few out there without 'sugar' or HFCS, it still has honey in it. It's going to be hard to do a BBQ sauce without some kind of sweetener.
JordanC
Okay, thanks! I was worried about the Xanthan Gum. I had no clue honey and molasses weren't compliant since I'm still trying to figure what is and isn't allowed.

Jtandi
I use that sauce when not on a W30 - the only I can find without sugar. but I don't think there are ANY without honey or molasses. you are going to have to make your own if you really want bbq sauce, there are some good recipes out there! Janine Costanzo
ISWF has a BBQ sauce recipe in it that I made once, and it's really good! Give that a shot!
