Day 28: appetite completely stalled/nausea

I'm on day 28, and I don't feel like eating anything. I'm not hungry, nothing sounds good. I cut my activity level in half this week, so that might play a part in my loss of appetite. I dunno. I don't think fasting is good for you, but I don't feel like force feeding myself when I'm not hungry is really listening to my body either. I feel nauseous.

Anyone have one of these days (especially at the end when your mood/appetite/energy has generally been pretty regulated) and if so, how did you proceed? What's the best course of self care?

You may simply be ill, a tummy bug. I say, don't eat, just keep up your fluids. As long as the body has water it won't hurt not to eat for 24 hours. I hope you feel better soon. Ps, I have read a lot of research that says occasional fasting is actually VERY good for the body : )

I get days like this.

 

Personally I will try going on a nice long walk and see if that kick starts my appetite. Usually it does and then I will enjoy a moderate size meal. If it doesn't, I don't really worry too much about it either. Just keep hydrating. Maybe take a nap, your body just needs rest.
