holly262
On Day 2 -- went for a run and was a little uncomfortable. I'm used to chewing gum while I run, but today I obviously didn't, so my mouth was dry and I was thirsty. Do I just take water with me and keep sipping it? Any other suggestions? missmary
yes. take water with you or use one of those camelback things. It's good to give the body water when you are thirsty. Much better than faking it out with gum.

MommaM
So glad I looked this up! I'm on Day 1 of my first Whole30 and am in week 15 of training for my first marathon. I've chewed gum for YEARS while running. Thanks for the link to the article above and for reminding me that gum is non-compliant! No gum while on the run! kanmuri
I'm in awe. Had I chewed gum while running when I used to run I would have choked to death. You have some super power!!
