leopardhugs
So I'm starting my 3rd whole30 tomorrow. I've been in denial that I need it for awhile now. My last whole30 ended in March, and since then my habits have been getting worse. Nothing terrible, but I've been eating more sugar and binging on nuts and dried fruits. I know it could be worse, but I really want to get back on track! I know I eat because I'm stressed. I haven't been taking the time to prepare good food for myself recently. I would be less stressed if I wasn't worrying about my cravings and eating too much. This month I will take the time to nourish myself. I will not make excuses for neglecting food prep or eating junk. I will focus on my health and wellness over feeling obligated to indulge in alcohol and junk food when out with friends. I will take time to handle stress in other ways than eating. I know I need some support from others to make lasting, good changes in my habits, so I will check in here often. I know what I need to do to improve my health and body image. I just need to DO IT! My goals: - Eat food to nourish my body - Cook more - Stop feeling the need to binge - Cut way down on sugar and nuts - Limit snacking - Get more sleep (a hard task for a woman working full time and going to grad school full time!) - Improve body composition - Make some gains at the gym - I <3 CrossFit - but also know when to rest - Focus on making good decisions that I'll be able to maintain long term - Stop being so critical of myself - learn to appreciate and love myself more So - that's a lot of things I want to get accomplished in a month! I know it won't happen overnight, but I just want to keep all these thoughts and goals in mind as I make my way though the next 30 days or so.
