KitchenWitch
Aug. 1.......first day of my first Whole30. What was I thinking? The fruit crops this year are the best I've (maybe ever) seen. Cherries, Plums, Cantalope, Champagne Grapes, Bluuuuuueberries.......oh my! Maybe I should have begun this in the dead of winter? Anyway, don't do like I did and eat 1/2 a Cantalope at 3:00am. The pain.....
Ravin
Sounds like time to get the hang of incorporating moderate amounts of fruit into meals. In salads, etc.
NMG
Blueberries scattered over a salad. Cherries cooked down in to a sauce to go with a rich meat dish (roast beef or game?). Plums in a duck dish. Melon balls as a starter or on a salad. http://paleodietlifestyle.com/bacon-grape-broccoli-salad/ ?

amberino21
Perhaps you could freeze fresh blueberries and cherries for when they aren't in season?
KitchenWitch
Amberino, great idea. I'm also going to can some (no sweetener) for those months when the only thing available is pumpkin!
