Day 31 extending my Whole 30...

I did it! I feel great, but based on the instruction in the day 31 email, I think it would be good for me to continue for a bit longer. I think I'm still battling my sugar dragon, and don't want to go on a post Whole30 bender.

If I wasn't going on vacation in 2 weeks, I'd continue. I'm going to reintroduce dairy, eggs, wine and chocolate. I'm not going back to grains/legumes ever. I will still try to keep to the meal template and not go hog wild. Then when I get back, I will probably do another W30 or more. Maybe start 9/1.

I'm pretty much carrying on. I did have a meal out on Day 31, but that had been planned for months. I'm now sticking to it all pretty much exactly as it is except that I'm a)experimenting with re-introducing dairy (no issues so far thank goodness) and I'm using things like gluten free sausages and Worcester sauce which might have a tiny percentage of something else in them but just give me some more variety.

 

It's definitely tough. My brain keeps going 'I want x and look I'm finished with the Whole 30, I can have it,' but it's just a case of keeping fighting that and knowing I don't want to give in and eat junk.

We're on day 30 too, and I think I want to continue - I don't have any problems with a sugar dragon, but have a few other things I think may improve if I carry on :)

Good to have someone at the same place as me. I'd be interested in hearing more on how you defeated your sugar dragon. I know you had mentioned it used to be an issue for you in the past.
