snowrab
The hardest part for me is snacks and drinks. What can I drink other then water, sparkling water, unsweetened tea?
Juice06870
100% coconut water you could slice up some cucumbers and lemon and add that to your water to give it some flavor as well. i used to do that all the time, i need to do it more often
Renee Lee
seltzers, if you need something bubbly. double check ingredients, but polar's compliant...and i'm 90% sure that perrier and other mineral waters are as well
Moderators Tom Denham Posted August 7, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 7, 2013 I don't understand the problem. If you are eating snacks, you are not eating enough at meals OR you are over eating, so any snacking should be temporary. And water is by far the best thing to drink. I think a good goal for the Whole30 is to drink water exclusively for 30 days.
snowrab
Thanks for your responses. This is my first week and maybe I'm not eating enough during my meals like Tom said or maybe it's mental.
Anita D
Hi, I haven't received the book yet. Black coffee is ok, yes?? Need it be organic? I'm a Bustelo coffee fan. Thanks!
Juice06870
black coffee is fine. doesn't need to be organic, but definitely needs to be black.
GFChris
black coffee is fine. doesn't need to be organic, but definitely needs to be black. You can put compliant coconut milk, coconut oil, ghee or clarified butter in your coffee on a Whole30. I use coconut oil and clarified butter and blend it with the coffee using my hand blender. Yum. Guest
I found this to be really helpful: http://whole9life.com/2012/10/quench-your-thirst-whole9-style/ Sad that my basil and mint were destroyed by a recent storm. I loved the lime and basil water.
Linda6308
I grew some orange mint in my garden this year, and it is really nice in ice water with an orange slice,
snowflower
I love honeybush tea iced. It's actually not "tea", but has such a wonderful flavor.
