I don't understand the problem. If you are eating snacks, you are not eating enough at meals OR you are over eating, so any snacking should be temporary. And water is by far the best thing to drink. I think a good goal for the Whole30 is to drink water exclusively for 30 days.

black coffee is fine.  doesn't need to be organic, but definitely needs to be black.  

You can put compliant coconut milk, coconut oil, ghee or clarified butter in your coffee on a Whole30.

 

I use coconut oil and clarified butter and blend it with the coffee using my hand blender. Yum.
