what to do with Cabbage?

1- Thinly sliced red cabbage.

1- Thinly sliced onion

Saute in a pan with coconut oil, then when it cooking down add coconut aminoes and some balsamic vinegar.  Put a lid on it and cook it down until it is very soft.  Yummo!  Kinda tangy and a little sweet from the cooked onion.

I've never made sauerkraut before, but I will start now after watching Laura Miller do it (I SO love her):



In Well Fed 2 I've found some great use of cabbage too, first on the roasted cabbage roses, so simple, so easy and so yum. I also love the deli tuna salad & the classic coleslaw (haven't tried yet the lemon lamb tagine or the moo shu pork -dying to though!).


Melissa is always in my thoughts. Oh, the happiness.  :D
