LosAltosAngel
Hello All, The label says ingredients are just coconut milk and water. What do you think? All I want to do is add something to my coffee. Label attached. Thx.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted August 10, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 10, 2013 Low fat coconut milk is a rip off because you could add your own water if you want thinner milk, but Trader Joe's product is Whole30 acceptable.
LosAltosAngel
Thank you Tom. Can I buy plain coconut milk instead? Also, they also sell the same with the fat -- or is THAT just plain coconut milk? (I should read that label!)
Susan W
For 99 cents, I like it for coffee. You can even use it for iced coffee with no lumping.
Susan W
Forgot to add..the full fat is also W30 but it does have a few things added but Renée said they were acceptable.
Colleen Roy
Coconut milk in your coffee is a yes! Just make sure you use the canned stuff. The Trader Joes near me NEVER has the full fat stuff!!!! Scoop it up while you can- especially at that price!!
Sino's Girl
I LOVE TJ's coconut milk in my coffee! It is 99 cents a can and lasts me for days. Just store it in another container after opening. For the price and amount used, I think it is a winner.
Delaine Ross
Tom has a great point about the added water being a rip-off, but TJ's is only 99 cents and they dont (at least not in my neighborhood) offer one that ISN'T light. If at TJ's and I don't want to go to another store I buy it just for convenience's sake, but you would be better off adding water to your full fat coconut milk if you WANT a lighter one.
