Guest
I'm in need of some guidance. I've never made Scotch eggs, but have become fascinated. I currently have some ground lamb to cook (was going to do my regular hash) and some eggs to use. I don't have Penzey's Italian seasoning. I usually use rosemary, basil, mint, and garlic with lamb. I often add pistachio add lime. I often have zucchini with lamb and I do have some in the house. Sometimes I add minced carrots to ground meat, as well. Anyone have experience with lamb and boiled eggs who might have an idea of what might work well?
NMG
I'd try rosemary and some black pepper myself; not sure minty eggs will work...

Kirsteen
My favourite spices with lamb are cinnamon, cumin and ginger
Guest
I'd say that we had success. Very lightly seasoned lamb. Encrusted with pistachio meat.
