carens19
I've been eating compliant meals and they aren't too big, but always feel so full afterwards - uncomfortably so. I take a digestive enzyme before eating and HCL after. Then I'm hungry two hours later. Breakfast is eggs with veges cooked in coconut oil. Lunch is a salad with salmon and balsamic dressing. Dinner is usually chicken with different vegetables. Assortments all day of peppers, spaghetti squash, brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant - either steamed or cooked in coconut oil. Not all vegetables at every meal, just two or three. Does anyone have any idea why I'm getting so full on not a lot of food?
Bet
It took me awhile to get used to eating larger meals. I was used to eating smaller meals more often. I would also take the HCL while you are eating, not after. It is the first thing needed for digestion, so you'll want it in your stomach while the food is in there. Guest
Are you getting enough fats? Any starches? Those things won't help with feeling too full, but they may help hold you longer. I too had trouble getting a full meal in during the first few days. I was encouraged to try 4 or 5 meals, but I just supplemented with some olives and a few mini-meals and my body adjusted to three meals by day 10 at the latest. That was from 6 or 7 small (SAD) meals a day. If you think your body needs another meal, have one. Mini-meals are also allowed. Going hungry is not part of the program.
