mollydelivers
I'm on day 14 of my first Whole 30. I'm noticing my stomach does not tolerate nuts well, even small amounts - sometimes to the point of causing pain. I've never noticed this before. Was this intolerance there all along and I didn't notice or is it possible to develop new sensitivities to food as I continue with my Whole 30? amberino21
It's possible that you had it all along, but combined with a whole lot of other things you were eating, the effects weren't as noticeable or you didn't link them specifically to the nuts. Physibeth
Nuts have a lot of the same problems as grains (phytates and anti-nutrients) so it is possible that removing the grains has made you more sensitive to the nuts for sure. I've also found that I can't eat as many nuts anymore...but I'm ok with that as they tend to turn into a no brakes food for me.
