Claire H.
So I've been searching this site, but I can't seem to find any information as to why sulfites are so bad and should be avoided. I googled it and found that the only real problem is that some people are allergic to sulfites. Is there anything else wrong with them? Should sulfites be on the list of foods to re-introduce after your Whole30, to see if you're allergic? I'm just a bit confused as to why they're one of the big banned food additives. Thanks! Robin Strathdee
Hi Claire! I know this is an old topic, but I thought it was worth answering Sulfites can cause serious problems (dermatological, digestive, pulmonary and cardiovascular) in sensitive folks. If you think you might be one of those folks, a careful reintro could do you good!
