IowaHillGal
Has anyone found palatable a alternative for balsamic vinegar that doesn't contain sulfites? All of the wine-based balsamic vinegars I have seen say they contain sulfites because these are in grapes. Thanks! Robin
GFChris
Here's the low-down on balsamic vinegar: if sulfites are in the ingredient list, it's a no-no on a Whole30. However if sulfites are not in the ingredient list and it states "contains naturally occurring sulfites" it's ok for a Whole30.I found two compliant balsamic vinegar brands in my local Whole Foods: Newman's Own and Bionaturae.EDIT: Moving this thread to Food, Drink and Condiments. Tyler_Monier
Walmart carries Pompeian Balsamic and it has naturally occurring sulfites.

trezkholl0806
That's what I have - Pompeian and it does say naturally occurring, so I guess I'm okay... I have White Wine Vinegar right here, but I think I also have Red Wine Vinegar from them.
