Christina Cowell
Every one in awhile I just don't want meat/fish/eggs. What are some good protein sources for those occasions?
melbournegirl
I feel the same sometime but I don't think there are good alternatives. Nuts and seeds are alternative protein sources but the high omega six levels make them sub optimal. That doesn't mean you can't use it a a sub on occasion... Better than dairy and legumes. Also I tell myself the world won't fall apart if I just miss a meal or only have soup or salad sometimes.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted August 22, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 22, 2013 If you are not doing a Whole30, you are welcome to make menu choices from the vegetarian shopping list: http://whole9life.com/book/ISWF-Vegetarian-Shopping-List.pdf Meat, eggs, and fish are superior sources of protein, but some vegetarian sources are better than others.
