happylilgirl
So I know I wasn't supposed to weigh myself, but I noticed such a drastic body change that I was wondering if I was losing too much too quickly. I'm on day 12 and I'm down 6 pounds. I'm not noticing a dip in my milk supply, but I know that I realize toxins stored in fat as I lose weight so I'm wondering if that is too much loss, too fast? I'm going to stay off the scale so I don't become more worried.
laceface224
I am nursing my 15 month old and am on day 47 of my "Whole30". I would say do not worry about that and continue to nurse, complete your whole 30 and nix the weighing in! It's unnecessary and will just cause you to continue to worry. The toxins released in breast milk are minimal and though your baby will experience some detoxing of her own from the change in your milk, it will not harm her. Your weight loss may slow from this point forward and be more steady. Don't worry! Keep going, mama! Great job on getting to day 12!
